The Challenge
For three years now, students have been struggling to learn through COVID and other disruptions. Many students feel disconnected from their peers, the curriculum, and the larger school culture. According to one Yale study, nearly 75% of students felt negatively about school.

And when students do not feel a positive connection to school, neither do adults in schools. A recent Gallup poll found that K-12 educators have the highest burnout rate in the nation.
Clearly, it’s time for change!
The Fix
As educators, we need to revamp HOW we build school and classroom community...to reset our practices in a way that honors and recognizes student and staff identity, lived experience, and voice.

Come participate in two lively days of learning and growing focused on placing the whole child—and the whole educator—at the center of school community.
You’ll leave ready to start the new school year with an equity-centered culture…
One in which ALL students and staff experience belonging, so that you can find MEANING and JOY again at work.
