Over the past 13 years, Ms. Claudia Rubino has worked in the Campbell Union School District teaching grades 4th-8th. These last 10 years, Ms. Rubino has been a tireless advocate for students at Monroe Middle School. Through her work to help students access their learning in English, she has been a champion for multilingual learners and a fierce supporter of students becoming biliterate. This year she has taken on the challenge of teaching AVID Excel 7 and 8 as well as a newcomer class; all this during distance learning.
